East Cannington Bus Service Changes Sun 06 Sep From Sunday 6 September, bus routes in the East Cannington area will undergo changes to improve frequency and connections between Cannington Station and Westfield Carousel. Route 36 Will be withdrawn and replaced by new Route 224. Route 51 Will operate: Every 10-15 minutes during peak periods Every 15 minutes on weekdays during the day Every 30 minutes during evenings and on weekends Most trips will now extend to Westfield Carousel. Routes 224 and 225 Will be withdrawn and replaced by new routes 224 and 226, and modified routes 51 and 280. New Route 224 Will operate between Westfield Carousel and Airport Central Station via Cannington Station and Queens Park Will operate: Every 20-30 minutes during peak periods Every 30-60 minutes during the day Every 60 minutes during the evening. New Route 226 Will operate between Westfield Carousel and Beckenham Station via Cannington Station and East Cannington Will operate: Every 20 minutes during peak periods Every 30 minutes during the day Every 60 minutes during the evening Designated school time trips will extend to Gibb Street Primary School Some trips will extend to Mill Park Centre. New Route 227 Will operate between Westfield Carousel and Maddington Central via Cannington Station, Beckenham Station, Kenwick and Maddington Station Will operate: Every 20 minutes during peak periods Every 60 minutes during the day and evenings Route 229 Will be withdrawn and replaced by new Route 227. Route 280 Will operate via Gerard St in East Cannington and no longer operate via Lacey St Passengers boarding or alighting on Lacey St can use new Route 226.
