Midland Station Temporary Car Park Closure Sat 08 Jul To allow for works on the multi-storey car park, as part of the New Midland Station Project the existing western car park at Midland Station closed on Saturday 8 July 2023. The car park to the east of Helena Street will close on Saturday 16 September 2023. If you normally park at Midland Station you should consider alternative means of travel with the amount of parking available significantly reduced. The $2.00 parking fee will continue to be charged during construction. We recommend passengers plan ahead and consider other ways to travel, such as: Walk or ride to the station It may be easier to walk or ride to Midland Station than you think. Most people can cycle 2km or walk 800m in less than ten minutes and there are a number of cycle paths in the Midland area. Pedestrian and cycle access from local shared paths will remain open throughout the work. All motorcycle and bike parking facilities will also remain available.
