Transferring value from a lost SmartRider to a replacement SmartRider
All registered users except Seniors and Students
If your registered SmartRider is lost or stolen call the Transperth
InfoLine or visit a Transperth InfoCentre to have your SmartRider
hot-listed.
The following options then apply:
Option A: Visit a Transperth InfoCentre
Once
your SmartRider is hot-listed, you can purchase a new SmartRider at an
InfoCentre where the balance from your old card can immediately be
transferred to your new card.
Option B: Visit a Retail Sales Outlet
Once
your SmartRider is hot-listed, you need to purchase a new SmartRider
and add value to it (a minimum add value of $10). Note: The value
of your lost SmartRider cannot be transferred at a authorised
SmartRider Retail Sales Outlet.
Allow 24 hours for your new SmartRider card to be processed and then
contact the Transperth InfoLine to advise that you wish to have your
card balance and registration details from your hot-listed card
transferred to your new registered SmartRider.
Transferring value to a new Seniors SmartRider
If your Seniors SmartRider is lost or stolen:

Call the Transperth InfoLine on 13 62 13 (TTY: 9428 1999, TIS: 13 14 50) to have it hot-listed.

Complete a Seniors Card Application Form (available from OSIV, all banks or online at www.seniorscard.wa.gov.au).
$5 card fee is payable to OSIV at this time. Wait approximately 10 days
for the application form to be processed and a new Seniors SmartRider
to be issued. The value on your lost Seniors SmartRider will be
automatically transferred to your new card.

Alternatively, attend in person at OSIV and purchase your new
Seniors SmartRider for $5. This replacement Seniors SmartRider will not
have value on it until the balance of your lost Seniors SmartRider is
automatically transferred within 24hrs.
If you wish to use your new Seniors SmartRider for paid travel prior
to the balance being transferred from your lost SmartRider, you must
add a minimum of $10 value to it before you can use it.
Transferring value to a replacement Student SmartRider
Participating schools:
If your Student SmartRider is lost or stolen:

Call the Transperth InfoLine on 13 62 13 (TTY: 9428 1999, TIS: 13 14 50) to have it hot-listed.

Advise your school to order a replacement. A minimum replacement fee of $5 applies.

Wait approximately 7 days for the form to be processed and your new
Student SmartRider to be issued. The value on your lost Student
SmartRider will be transferred automatically to your replacement
Student SmartRider.
Non-participating schools:
If your Student SmartRider is lost or stolen:

Call the Transperth InfoLine on 13 62 13 (TTY: 9428 1999, TIS: 13 14 50) to have it hot-listed.

Complete an Application for Replacement Student SmartRider and send
to Monitor WA together with a $5 cheque or money order (full details on
form).

Wait approximately 7 days for the form to be processed and your
replacement Student SmartRider to be issued. The value on your lost
Student SmartRider will be transferred automatically to your
replacement Student SmartRider.
