2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season Sun 16 Mar The 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership season kicks off in March and runs until the end of August. Games are held at Optus Stadium and travel on all Transperth services is included in your ticket for three hours before and after the event. For Optus Stadium weekend games, direct inbound trains on the Yanchep and Mandurah lines in addition to the Suburban Event Bus Network will operate to get you to and from games. Direct trains on the Fremantle Line will also operate after the game to get you home. Additional services will be running, so plan your journey using the Transperth JourneyPlanner before you travel. Getting to and from Optus Stadium: Travelling By Train View the Train System Map Airport Line To: Take a train to East Perth Station and walk under the Windan Bridge underpass. See a map of the walking route here. Alternatively, take an Airport Line train to Perth Station and transfer to a train to Perth Stadium Station on the Armadale and Thornlie-Cockburn lines. Airport Line services will not stop at Claisebrook and McIver stations at certain times on game days. Services will operate express from East Perth Station to Perth Station during these times. From: Walk under the Windan Bridge underpass to East Perth Station, or take a train to Perth from the Eastern Concourse. Airport Line services between Perth and Claremont will be cancelled at certain times, depending on when the game finishes. During this time passengers will need to transfer to the Fremantle Line. Airport Line services will also be cancelled between Perth and Bayswater at certain times and passengers will need to transfer to the Midland or Ellenbrook Line. Armadale Line To: Armadale Line trains run frequently between Cannington and Perth stations, stopping at Perth Stadium Station. From: Trains to Cannington Station depart frequently from Platform 6 via the Eastern Concourse at Perth Stadium Station. Ellenbrook Line To: Take a train to East Perth Station and walk under the Windan Bridge underpass. See a map of the walking route here. Alternatively, take an Ellenbrook Line train to Perth Station and transfer to a train to Perth Stadium Station on the Armadale and Thornlie-Cockburn lines. Ellenbrook Line services will not stop at Claisebrook and McIver stations at certain times on game days. Services will operate express from East Perth Station to Perth Station during these times. From: Walk under the Windan Bridge underpass to East Perth Station, or take a train to Perth and transfer to the Ellenbrook Line. Fremantle Line To: Direct trains from Fremantle to Perth Stadium Station will not be operating before AFL games. Take a timetabled train to Perth, and transfer to a train to Perth Stadium Station. From: Trains depart from Platform 3 via the Western Concourse and travel express to City West then all stops to Fremantle for approximately 60 minutes after the game. If you're leaving early, or after this time, you will need to take a train to Perth from the Eastern Concourse and transfer to the Fremantle Line. Mandurah Line To: Direct trains from Mandurah Station to Perth Stadium Station will be operating before weekend games. Direct trains will operate all stops to Cockburn Central then Ranford Road, Nicholson Road, and Thornlie stations before travelling express to Perth Stadium Station. Alternatively, take a timetabled train to Cockburn Central Station and transfer to a Thornlie-Cockburn Line train. Passengers boarding at Murdoch, Bull Creek or Canning Bridge stations should catch a timetabled train to Perth Underground and transfer to an Armadale or Thornlie-Cockburn Line train to Perth Stadium Station. From: Passengers travelling south of Murdoch Station should catch a direct train from Perth Stadium Station. Trains depart from Platform 5 via the Eastern Concourse at Perth Stadium Station, travelling express to Thornlie Station then all stops to Rockingham or Mandurah stations for approximately 45 minutes after the game. If you’re leaving early, or after this time, you will need to take a Thornlie-Cockburn Line train from Platform 6 via the Eastern Concourse and transfer to the Mandurah Line at Cockburn Central Station. If you are travelling to Murdoch, Bull Creek or Canning Bridge stations, catch a train to Perth from Platform 2 via the Eastern Concourse and transfer to the Mandurah Line. Midland Line To: Take a train to East Perth Station and walk under the Windan Bridge underpass. See a map of the walking route here. Alternatively, take a Midland Line train to Perth Station and transfer to a train to Perth Stadium Station on the Armadale and Thornlie-Cockburn lines. Thornlie-Cockburn Line To: Thornlie-Cockburn Line trains run frequently between Cockburn Central and Perth stations, stopping at Perth Stadium Station. Thornlie-Cockburn Line trains will not stop at Victoria Park, Burswood, Claisebrook and McIver stations at certain times on game days. Services will operate express from Carlisle Station to Perth Stadium Station and then express to Perth Station during these times. If you are travelling from the above stations, you will need to catch an Armadale Line train to Perth Stadium Station. From: Trains to Cockburn Central Station depart frequently from Platform 6 via the Eastern Concourse. Thornlie-Cockburn Line trains will not stop at Burswood and Victoria Park stations at certain times on game days. Services will operate express from Perth Stadium Station to Carlisle Station during these times. If you are travelling to Burswood or Victoria Park stations, you will need to catch an Armadale Line train from Platform 6 via the Eastern Concourse. Yanchep Line To: Direct trains from Yanchep Station to Perth Stadium Station will be operating before weekend games. Alternatively, take a timetabled train to Perth Underground, and transfer to a train to Perth Stadium Station. From: Trains depart Platform 4 via the Western Concourse and travel express to Leederville then all stops to Clarkson or Yanchep for approximately 60 minutes after the game. If you're leaving early, or after this time, you will need to take a train to Perth from the Eastern Concourse and transfer to the Yanchep Line. Travelling By Bus Stadium Station Bus Stand Allocations Important changes: Route 650 (Karrinyup Bus Station) will now depart from stands 18 and 19 at Perth Stadium Bus Station. Route 651 and 660 will no longer operate. You can now catch an Armadale Line train from Cannington Station or a Thornlie-Cockburn Line train from Beckenham or Thornlie stations. You can also catch Route 907 to Cannington Station and transfer to the train to Perth Stadium Station. Route 656 will now operate a shorter route, travelling to Willetton instead of Canning Vale. Passengers boarding in Canning Vale can now catch a direct train to and from the Stadium from the new Ranford Road or Nicholson Road stations on the Thornlie-Cockburn Line. Armadale Line Passengers Armadale Line trains will continue to operate between Cannington and Perth stations, stopping at Perth Stadium Station. Thornlie-Cockburn Line trains will operate between Cockburn Central and Perth stations, stopping at Perth Stadium Station. Trains will run all stops between Cockburn Central and Carlisle stations, running express to Perth Stadium Station and then express to Perth. If you catch the train from Burswood or Victoria Park stations, you will need to catch an Armadale Line train. Important: Route 651 and 660 will no longer operate. You can now catch an Armadale Line train from Cannington Station or a Thornlie-Cockburn Line train from Beckenham or Thornlie stations.
