International rugby returns to Perth!

Public transport is included in your ticket to see the Wallabies take on England, with additional services running to get you to and from Optus Stadium. 

Your ticket includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours either side of the match. If asked, show your ticket to the driver or inspector. Keep in mind, you must have your ticket on you to travel for no extra cost. 

Make sure you're ready for game day, masks are required onboard all Transperth services unless you have an exemption.

Getting to and from Optus Stadium

Travel By Train

Transperth Train System Map

To get you to the match, Armadale Line trains will stop at Perth Stadium Station all day, with direct trains frequently departing Perth from 2.49pm.

Armadale Line

To: Take the Armadale Line straight to Perth Stadium Station, trains will depart approximately every 15 minutes all day.

 

From: Take the Armadale Line from Platform 5 via the Eastern Concourse at Perth Stadium Station.

Thornlie Line

To: Take the Thornlie Line straight to Perth Stadium Station. Trains will run approximately every 15 minutes all day.

 

From: Take an Armadale Line train from the Eastern Concourse at Perth Stadium Station to Cannington Station, then catch a train replacement bus service (Route 908) to Thornlie Station.

Fremantle Line

To: Take the Fremantle Line direct to Perth Stadium Station, trains depart approximately every 15 minutes between 3.48pm and 4.48pm. Alternatively you can take a timetabled train to Perth, and transfer to a train to Perth Stadium Station.

 

From: Trains depart Platform 3 via the Western Concourse and travel express to City West, then all stops to Fremantle between 8.02pm and 8.47pm. If you're leaving early, or after 8.47pm, you will need to take a train to Perth from the Eastern Concourse then transfer to the Fremantle Line.

Joondalup Line

To: Take the Joondalup Line direct to Perth Stadium Station, trains depart approximately every 15 minutes between 3.05pm and 4.50pm. Alternatively you can take a timetabled train to Perth, and transfer to a train to Perth Stadium Station.

 

From: Trains depart Platform 4 via the Western Concourse and travel express to Leederville, then all stops to Butler between 8.06pm and 8.51pm. If you're leaving early, or after 8.51pm, you will need to take a train to Perth from the Eastern Concourse, then transfer to the Joondalup Line.

Mandurah Line

To: Take a timetabled Mandurah Line train to Perth Underground and transfer to a train to Perth Stadium Station.

 

From: Take a train to Perth from the Eastern Concourse and transfer to the Mandurah Line. 

Midland Line

To: Take a train to East Perth Station and walk over the Windan Bridge. See a map of the walking route here. Alternatively, take a Midland Line train to Perth Station, and transfer to a train to Perth Stadium Station.

 

From: Walk over the Windan Bridge to East Perth Station, or take a train to Perth from the Eastern Concourse, and transfer to the Midland Line.

Departing frequently between 3.19pm and 5.14pm, stopping at designated Stadium Stops.
From Stadium Bus Station – STANDS 14 and 15
Buses will operate for 45 minutes after the final siren.

To Stadium Bus Station
Departing frequently between 3.24pm and 5.19pm, stopping at designated Stadium Stops.
From Stadium Bus Station – STANDS 16 and 17
Please note: Services will operate normal route on Beaufort Street and then deviate left Lawley Crescent, right North Street, left Central Avenue, u-turn at Hamer Parade roundabout, then via Central Avenue, left Beaufort Street to resume normal route.
Stops missed: 12144 (Beaufort St after Fourth Av).
Alternate stops: 12145 (Beaufort St before Sixth Av).
Buses will operate for 45 minutes after the final siren. 

654 Ellenbrook Town Centre (Stop Number 22418) via Bassendean Station
To Stadium Bus Station
Departing frequently between 3.02pm and 4.57pm, stopping at designated Stadium Stops.
Please note: Stop 14491 (Gt Eastern Hwy before Lyall St) will be missed, with an alternative bus stop temporarily relocated 104m towards Moreing St, Redcliffe.
From Stadium Bus Station - STANDS 12 and 13
Buses will operate for 45 minutes after the final siren.

Departing frequently between 3.15pm and 5.10pm, stopping at designated Stadium Stops.

Departing frequently between 3.14pm and 5.09pm, stopping at designated Stadium Stops.
From Stadium Bus Station – STANDS 1, 2 and 3 
Buses will operate for 45 minutes after the final siren. 
 

Service Disruptions

Some services will be affected on Optus Stadium event days. 

  • The Moore St pedestrian crossing will be non-operational between 3.45pm and 9.30pm. Pedestrians can use the McIver Station underpass at the east end of the station.
  • Trains on the Armadale and Midland lines will not stop at Claisebrook or McIver stations between approximately 3.45pm and 9.30pm. Train replacement buses will be operating during this time. Route 901 runs on a 15-minute frequency between Perth Busport and East Perth Station, stopping at Claisebrook, McIver and Perth stations and at Wellington St after Forrest Pl (Stop 12924).
  • There will be no trains to Thornlie from Perth between approximately 7.07pm and 9.17pm. Train replacement bus (Routes 908) will run between Cannington and Thornlie stations. Passengers heading to Thornlie Station will need to transfer services at Cannington Station.
