Fremantle Watch Party Events:

Catch a timetabled train service to Fremantle Station, then walk a short distance to one of the watch sites, including the Cappuccino Strip, Walyalup Koort, Esplanade Reserve and Fremantle Oval.

By Bus

Bus services within the City of Fremantle will be disrupted due to event-related closures. Visit Service Updates for disruption information.

Stadium Park at Optus Stadium:

Catch a timetabled train service to Perth Stadium Station, then walk a short distance to Stadium Park for the watch party event.

Trains on the Armadale and Thornlie-Cockburn lines stop at Perth Stadium Station.

By Bus

Stadium Event Buses will not be operating for this event. Timetabled, regular bus services will operate.

Included travel for events

Some event organisers and venues include Transperth travel to and from the event in their ticket price. In some cases, event organisers may also arrange for us to provide additional bus or train services for people attending the event.

If you are going to an event, please check the travel options and plan your journey in advance to avoid inconvenience on the day. If your event is joint ticketed, you are entitled to travel on any Transperth service for three hours before, during and three hours after the event, or until end of service, whichever occurs first.

Please note paid parking has been extended to include all parking bays at Transperth train stations. This means when you park at a Transperth train station it will cost you $2 a day, or for any part of, between 5am and 9pm on weekdays. If your event is joint ticketed and you plan to park at a train station, you will need to use the Pay 'n' Display option to pay for parking. See Paid Parking for more information.
