Event and ticket information 

Your registration for HBF Run for a Reason includes travel on all Transperth services until 3pm. Simply wear your race bib to travel on any Transperth service at no extra cost.

If you're driving to one of our stations, parking is free on weekends and public holidays. For more information, go to Parking.

To event

Early morning trains will operate to get you to the start line, check your train line below for times. 

Yanchep Line

Trains from Yanchep to Perth will operate approximately every 12 minutes from 4.55am until 6.13am. After 6.13am, trains will operate approximately every 6 minutes to get you to the start line. 

Mandurah Line

Trains from Mandurah to Perth will operate approximately every 12 minutes from 4.49am until 6.13am. After 6.13am, trains will operate approximately every 6 minutes to get you to the start line. 

Armadale Line

Trains from Byford to Perth will operate approximately every 15 minutes from 4.53am to get you to the start line. 

Thornlie-Cockburn Line

Trains from Cockburn Central to Perth will operate approximately every 15 minutes from 5.10am to get you to the start line. 

Midland Line

Early morning trains will depart from Midland to Perth at 5.19am, 5.34am and 5.49am. Trains will operate approximately every 15 minutes from 6.34am to get you to the start line.

Airport Line

Early morning trains will depart from High Wycombe to Perth at 5.33am, 5.48am and 6.03am. Trains will operate approximately every 15 minutes from 6.48am to get you to the start line.

Ellenbrook Line

Early morning trains will depart from Ellenbrook to Perth at 5.19am, 5.34am and 5.49am. Trains will operate approximately every 15 minutes from 6.34am to get you to the start line.

Fremantle Line

Early morning trains will depart from Fremantle to Perth at 5.09am, 5.24am and 5.39am. Trains will operate approximately every 15 minutes from 6.24am to get you to the start line. Additionally, trains will depart from Claremont to Perth approximately every 15 minutes from 6.29am.

Buses

Spectators wishing to travel to the finish line will be able to board shuttle buses departing every 10 minutes from Stand 4 on Wellington St to alight at Perth Girls' School (Stop 12912) between 7.30am and 11.30am. 

From event

Buses

Free Transperth shuttle buses for participants will operate to Wellington St from Hale St, a brief walk from Gloucester Park.

If you're travelling with a pram, please ensure they are folded before you board the bus.

Train services


Exit Gloucester Park via the side gate onto Sailani Av and walk across the Matagarup Bridge to Perth Stadium Station.

Heading towards Byford or Cockburn Central? Catch an Armadale or Thornlie-Cockburn Line train from Perth Stadium Station. Trains will operate approximately every 15 minutes.

Included travel for events

Some event organisers and venues include Transperth travel to and from the event in their ticket price. In some cases, event organisers may also arrange for us to provide additional bus or train services for people attending the event.

If you are going to an event, please check the travel options and plan your journey in advance to avoid inconvenience on the day. If your event is joint ticketed, you are entitled to travel on any Transperth service for three hours before, during and three hours after the event, or until end of service, whichever occurs first.

Please note paid parking has been extended to include all parking bays at Transperth train stations. This means when you park at a Transperth train station it will cost you $2 a day, or for any part of, between 5am and 9pm on weekdays. If your event is joint ticketed and you plan to park at a train station, you will need to use the Pay 'n' Display option to pay for parking. See Paid Parking for more information.
