Perth Running Festival

Your registration for the Perth Running Festival includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours before, during and after the event. Simply wear your event bib and jump on board.

Half Marathon and Marathon: Additional early morning trains are running on all lines to help you get to the event. 

10km participants: Trains on the Mandurah Line will arrive every 15 minutes at Elizabeth Quay Station from 7.16am. Langley Park is just a short walk from the station. 

4km participants: Timetabled train services on the Armadale and Thornlie-Cockburn lines will be operating all stops to Perth Stadium Station.

Armadale Line Passengers
 

To event: 

Armadale Line passengers are encouraged to catch Route 907, additional early morning trips will depart Armadale Station and are to be confirmed shortly. Alternatively, catch the train from Cannington Station on the Armadale Line to Perth Stadium Station. Trains depart from 4.50am to get you to the starting line.

Thornlie-Cockburn Line trains will operate between Cockburn Central and Perth Stadium Station. Trains will run all stations between Cockburn Central and Carlisle stations and then express to Perth Stadium Station. Trains depart from 4.54am to get you to the starting line.

Buses

Timetabled services will operate across the Transperth network. Please note, there will be no additional bus services at suburban stations for connections with the extra train services being provided.

Please note there will be disruptions to Transperth bus services due to road closures for the event. More information will be available soon.

Included travel for events

Some event organisers and venues include Transperth travel to and from the event in their ticket price. In some cases, event organisers may also arrange for us to provide additional bus or train services for people attending the event.

If you are going to an event, please check the travel options and plan your journey in advance to avoid inconvenience on the day. If your event is joint ticketed, you are entitled to travel on any Transperth service for three hours before, during and three hours after the event, or until end of service, whichever occurs first.

Please note paid parking has been extended to include all parking bays at Transperth train stations. This means when you park at a Transperth train station it will cost you $2 a day, or for any part of, between 5am and 9pm on weekdays. If your event is joint ticketed and you plan to park at a train station, you will need to use the Pay 'n' Display option to pay for parking. See Paid Parking for more information.
