Perth Running Festival

Langley Park: 10km Walk or Run
 

Your registration for Perth Running Festival includes travel on all Transperth services until 4pm. Simply wear your race bib to travel on any Transperth service at no extra cost.

Half Marathon and Marathon participants: Additional early morning trains will operate to help you get to the start line.

10km participants: Trains on the Mandurah and Yanchep lines will arrive every 15 minutes at Elizabeth Quay Station from 7.16am. Langley Park is just a short walk from the station.

4km participants: Timetabled train services on the Armadale and Thornlie-Cockburn lines will be operating all stops to Perth Stadium Station.

To event

Early morning trains will operate to get you to the start line, check your train line below for times. 

Yanchep Line

Trains from Yanchep Station to Perth Station then express to Perth Stadium Station will operate from 4.10am until 6.05am. After 6.28am, regular timetabled trains will operate approximately every 15 minutes to get you to the start line. 

Mandurah Line

Trains from Mandurah Station to Perth Stadium Station will operate from 4.09am until 6.10am. After 6.10am, regular timetabled trains to Perth Station will operate approximately every 15 minutes to get you to the start line. 

Armadale Line

Trains from Byford Station to Perth Stadium Station will operate from 4.23am. After 6.38am, trains from Byford Station will operate approximately every 15 minutes to get you to the start line.  

Thornlie-Cockburn Line

Trains from Cockburn Central Station to Perth Stadium Station will operate from 4.44am until 6.45am. After 7.10am, regular timetabled trains will operate approximately every 15 mins to get you to the start line. 

Midland Line

Trains from Midland Station to Perth Station will operate from 4.34am. After 7.34am, trains from Midland Station will operate approximately every 15 minutes to get you to the start line.

Airport Line

Trains from High Wycombe Station to Perth Station will operate from 4.33am. After 7.33am, trains from High Wycombe Station will operate approximately every 15 minutes to get you to the start line.

Ellenbrook Line

Trains from Ellenbrook Station to Perth Station will operate from 4.34am. After 7.34am, trains from Ellenbrook Station will operate every 15 minutes to get you to the start line.

Fremantle Line

Trains from Fremantle Station to Perth Station will operate from 4.25am. After 7.24am, trains from Fremantle Station will operate approximately every 15 mins to get you to the start line. Additionally, Airport Line trains will depart from Claremont Station to Perth Station from 4.40am and approximately every 15 minutes from 7.29am.


Buses

Timetabled services will operate across the Transperth network. Please note, there will be no additional bus services at suburban stations for connections with the extra train services being provided.

Included travel for events

Some event organisers and venues include Transperth travel to and from the event in their ticket price. In some cases, event organisers may also arrange for us to provide additional bus or train services for people attending the event.

If you are going to an event, please check the travel options and plan your journey in advance to avoid inconvenience on the day. If your event is joint ticketed, you are entitled to travel on any Transperth service for three hours before, during and three hours after the event, or until end of service, whichever occurs first.

Please note paid parking has been extended to include all parking bays at Transperth train stations. This means when you park at a Transperth train station it will cost you $2 a day, or for any part of, between 5am and 9pm on weekdays. If your event is joint ticketed and you plan to park at a train station, you will need to use the Pay 'n' Display option to pay for parking. See Paid Parking for more information.
