Your ticket to Queen + Adam Lambert includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours either side of the event (special event buses only operate one hour after the concert). If asked, proudly show off your ticket to the driver or inspector.

Keep in mind, you must have your ticket on you to travel for no extra cost. If you’re planning on collecting your ticket at the venue, you will need to pay a normal fare to get there.

Getting to and from Optus Stadium

Transperth operates an integrated public transport plan to connect event-goers with the Perth CBD and wider metropolitan area.

Travel By Train

Armadale Line trains stop at Perth Stadium Station from first to last service. To get you to the match, direct trains to Perth Stadium Station will depart Perth frequently from 4.49pm.
 

Armadale Line

To: Take the Armadale Line straight to Perth Stadium Station, trains run approximately every 15 minutes from 8.15am.

 

From: Take the Armadale Line from Platform 5/6 via the Eastern Concourse at Perth Stadium Station. The last train departs at 1.07am.

Thornlie Line

To: Take the Thornlie Line straight to Perth Stadium Station. Trains run approximately every 15 minutes from 4.05pm.

 

From: Take the Armadale Line to connect with train replacement bus Route 908, operating between Thornlie and Cannington stations. There will be no trains to Thornlie from Perth from 9.07pm until first service the next day.

Fremantle Line

To: Direct trains depart Fremantle approximately every 15 minutes between 5.48pm and 6.48pm. 
Alternatively, take a timetabled Fremantle Line train to Perth and transfer to a train to Perth Stadium Station.

 

From: Trains depart Platform 3 via the Western Concourse and travel express to City West then all stops to Fremantle between 11.01pm and 11.56pm. If you're leaving early, or after 11.56pm, you will need to take a train to Perth from the Eastern Concourse. The last connecting train departs Perth Stadium Station at 12.59am.  

Joondalup Line

To: Direct trains depart Butler approximately every 15 minutes between 5.05pm and 6.50pm. 
Alternatively, take a timetabled Joondalup Line train to Perth Underground and transfer to a train to Perth Stadium Station.  

 

From: Trains depart Platform 4 via the Western Concourse and travel express to Leederville then all stops to Butler between 11.06pm and 12.01am, with some services terminating at Clarkson. If you're leaving early, or after 12.01am, you will need to take a train to Perth from the Eastern Concourse and transfer to the Joondalup Line. The last connecting train departs Stadium Station at 12.59am.

Mandurah Line

To: Take a timetabled Mandurah Line train to Perth Underground and transfer to a train to Perth Stadium Station. Direct trains to Perth Stadium Station will depart Perth frequently from 4.49pm. 

 

From: Take a train to Perth from the Eastern Concourse and transfer to the Mandurah Line. The last connecting train departs Perth Stadium Station at 12.59am.

Midland Line

To: Take a train to East Perth Station and walk over the Windan Bridge. See a map of the walking route.
Alternatively, take a Midland Line train to Perth Station and transfer to a train to Perth Stadium Station. Direct trains to Perth Stadium Station will depart Perth frequently from 4.49pm. 

 

From: Walk over the Windan Bridge to East Perth Station, or take a train to Perth from the Eastern Concourse, and transfer to the Midland Line. The last connecting train departs Perth Stadium Station at 12.59am.

Travel By Bus

Please remember special event buses run for ONE HOUR after the event.

From designated Stadium stops between 6.24pm and 7.49pm, buses will operate on a 5 – 10 minute frequency.
From Stadium Bus Station – STANDS 14 and 15
Buses will operate for one hour after the event.

From designated Stadium stops between 6.07pm and 7.37pm, buses will operate on a 10 minute frequency.

From Stadium Bus Station - STANDS 12 and 13
Buses will operate for one hour after the event.
Route 654 will now travel via Henley Brook Bus Station and no longer service Ellenbrook Transfer Station.

From designated Stadium stops between 6.29pm and 7.54pm, buses will operate on a 5 minute frequency. 
From Stadium Bus Station – STANDS 4 and 5
Buses will operate for one hour after the event.
659 Fremantle Station (Stand 2) via Canning Hwy
To Stadium Bus Station
From designated Stadium stops between 6.19pm and 7.44pm, buses will operate on a 5 – 10 minute frequency.
via Canning Bridge
From designated Stadium stops between 6.42pm and 8.07pm, buses will operate on a 1 – 5minute frequency. 
From Stadium Bus Station – STANDS 1, 2 and 3 
Buses will operate for one hour after the event.

Service Disruptions

Some services will be affected on Optus Stadium event days.

  • The Moore St pedestrian crossing will be non-operational between 5.45pm and 1.00am. Pedestrians can use the McIver Station underpass at the east end of the station.
  • Thornlie Line trains will be cancelled from 9.07pm until first service the next day. Passengers can take the Armadale Line to connect with train replacement buses, operating between Thornlie and Cannington stations.
  • Trains on the Armadale and Midland lines will not stop at Claisebrook or McIver stations between approximately 9.45pm and 12.30am. Train replacement buses will be operating during this time. Route 901 runs on a 10-minute frequency between Perth Busport and East Perth Station, stopping at Claisebrook, McIver and Perth stations and at Wellington St after Forrest Pl (Stop 12924).

Services will be busy, please allow extra travel time getting to and from the event.
