Taylor Swift

Your ticket to Taylor Swift includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours either side of the event (special event buses only operate one hour after the concert). If asked, proudly show off your ticket to the driver or inspector. 

Keep in mind you must have your ticket on you to travel for no extra cost. If you’re planning on collecting your ticket at the venue, you will need to pay a normal fare to get there.

Getting to and from Optus Stadium

Transperth has developed an integrated public transport plan to connect event-goers with the Perth CBD and wider metropolitan area. A map of the Optus Stadium precinct centre can be found here

Buses

The Suburban Event Bus Network will not be operating before the event. 

Find alternative bus services to reach the city where you can transfer to a train to Stadium Station, or Route 661 to Matagarup Bridge Bus Stands.

Route 661 will run as a circular route, anti-clockwise before the event and clockwise afterwards, operating to and from Matagarup Bridge Bus Stands (on the East Perth side of the bridge) via Wellington St, Milligan St, and Adelaide/St Georges Tce. Buses will operate every 3 - 10 minutes between 5.12pm and 8.20pm.

Trains

Trains stopping at Perth Stadium Station depart Perth Station approximately every 7 minutes from 2.22pm.

If you’re leaving early you will need to take a Perth train shuttle from the Eastern Concourse.

Travel By Train

Armadale Line To: Take an Armadale Line train straight to Perth Stadium Station. Trains stopping at Stadium Station will depart Armadale Station approximately every 15 minutes from 2.00pm. 
  From: Trains to Armadale will stop at Stadium Station until 1.07am. Trains will depart from Platform 5/6 via the Eastern Concourse.
Thornlie Line To: Take a Thornlie Line train straight to Perth Stadium Station. Trains stopping at Stadium Station will depart Thornlie Station approximately every 15 minutes from 2.20pm.
  From: Take the Armadale Line to connect with train replacement buses (Route 908), operating between Thornlie and Cannington Stations. There will be no trains to Thornlie from Perth from 9.17pm until first service the next day.

Fremantle Line

To: There will be no express Fremantle Line services operating before the concert. 
Take a timetabled Fremantle Line service to Perth Station and change to a train to Stadium Station departing Perth approximately every 7 minutes, from 2.22pm.
  From: Trains depart Platform 3 via the Western Concourse and travel express to City West then all stops to Fremantle between 11.02pm and 11.55pm. If you're leaving early you will need to take a Perth train shuttle from the Eastern Concourse. 
After 11.55pm take a train to Perth from the Eastern Concourse and transfer to the Fremantle Line. The last connecting train departs Perth Stadium Station at 1.34am.
Joondalup Line To: There will be no express Joondalup Line services operating before the concert. 
Take a timetabled Joondalup Line service to Perth Underground and change to a train to Stadium Station departing Perth approximately every 7 minutes, from 2.22pm.
  From: Trains depart Platform 4 via the Western Concourse and travel express to Leederville then all stops to Butler between 10.57pm and 12.01am, with some services terminating at Clarkson. If you're leaving early you will need to take a Perth train shuttle from the Eastern Concourse. 
After 12.01am take a train to Perth from the Eastern Concourse and transfer to the Joondalup Line. The last connecting train departs Stadium Station at 1.34am.
Mandurah Line To: Take a Mandurah Line train to Perth and change to a Perth train shuttle departing approximately every 7 minutes, from 2.22pm.
  From: Take a train to Perth from the Eastern Concourse and transfer to the Mandurah Line. The last connecting train departs Perth Stadium Station at 1.34am.
Midland Line To: Take a train to East Perth Station and walk over the Windan Bridge. See a map of the walking route here.
Alternatively, take a Midland Line train to Perth and change to a train to Stadium Station departing approximately every 7 minutes, from 2.22pm.
  From: Walk over the Windan Bridge to East Perth Station, or take a train to Perth from the Eastern Concourse, and transfer to the Midland Line. The last connecting train departs Perth Stadium Station at 1.34am.

Travel By Bus

Please remember special event buses run for ONE HOUR after the event.

The Suburban Event Bus Network will not be operating before the concert. 

Matagarup Bridge Bus Stands

Route   
661 To Matagarup Bridge Bus Stands (East Perth) – Route 661 operates as a circular route via Wellington St, Milligan St and St Georges/Adelaide Tce.  
Buses will operate every 3 - 10 minutes between 5.12pm and 8.20pm. Passengers will need to walk across Matagarup Bridge to get to Optus Stadium.
From Matagarup Bridge Bus Stands
Between 10.55pm and 11.55pm buses will operate on a 3 minute frequency from Matagarup Bridge Bus Stands (on the East Perth side of the bridge).

From Stadium Bus Station – STANDS 18 & 20
Between 10.50pm and 11.50pm (one hour after the event) buses will operate on a 3 minute frequency.

652 From Stadium Bus Station – STANDS 14 & 15
Between 10.50pm and 11.50pm (one hour after the event) buses will operate on a 3 minute frequency.
653 From Stadium Bus Station – STANDS 16 & 17
Between 10.50pm and 11.50pm (one hour after the event) buses will operate on a 3 minute frequency.
654 From Stadium Bus Station – STANDS 12 & 13
Between 10.50pm and 11.50pm (one hour after the event) buses will operate on a 3 minute frequency.
656 From Stadium Bus Station – STANDS 10 & 11
Between 10.50pm and 11.50pm (one hour after the event) buses will operate on a 3 minute frequency. (Please note, Route 656 will now service (Stop 10507) at Ranford Rd after Bannister Rd.) 
657 From Stadium Bus Station – STANDS 8 & 9
Between 10.50pm and 11.50pm (one hour after the event) buses will operate on a 3 minute frequency.
658 From Stadium Bus Station – STANDS 4 & 5
Between 10.50pm and 11.50pm (one hour after the event) buses will operate on a 3 minute frequency.
659 From Stadium Bus Station – STANDS 1 - 3
Between 10.50pm and 11.50pm (one hour after the event) buses will operate on a 3 minute frequency.

Service Disruptions

Some services will be affected on Optus Stadium event days. 

  • The pedestrian and level crossing on Moore St will be non-operational between 4.00pm and 1.30am. Pedestrians can use the McIver Station underpass at the east end of the station.
  • Thornlie Line trains will be cancelled from 9.17pm until first service the next day. Passengers can take the Armadale Line to connect with train replacement buses, operating between Thornlie and Cannington stations.
  • Trains on the Armadale and Midland lines will not stop at Claisebrook or McIver stations between approximately 10.19pm and 12.37am. Train replacement buses will be operating during this time. Route 905 runs on a 10-minute frequency between Perth Busport and East Perth Station, stopping at Claisebrook, McIver and Perth stations and at Wellington St after Forrest Pl (Stop 12924).

Services will be busy, please allow extra travel time getting to and from the event.
