Perth Royal Show 2017

Sat 23 Sep - Sat 30 Sep

Avoid spending the day driving around in circles by taking Transperth to the Royal Show.

With hundreds of extra services operating during Show week, you can avoid the traffic hassles around Claremont Showground as well as the frustration involved in finding a well-priced parking spot.

For the cheapest way to get to the Show, a $12.60 FamilyRider is just the ticket. Up to seven people (two standard and five concession) can travel for the whole day* - so there's no need to buy a return ticket.

*From 9am weekdays (8.30am Zones 5 to 9) and all day Saturday/Sunday.

Check Tickets and Fares for more information on the FamilyRider.

Trains

Additional trains with extra capacity will stop at Showgrounds Station. From Saturday 21 September until Monday 25 September, trains on the Midland Line will be cancelled and replacement buses will operate. More information on Midland Line services can be found here.

Included travel for events

Some event organisers and venues include Transperth travel to and from the event in their ticket price. In some cases, event organisers may also arrange for us to provide additional bus or train services for people attending the event.

If you are going to an event, please check the travel options and plan your journey in advance to avoid inconvenience on the day. If your event is joint ticketed, you are entitled to travel on any Transperth service for three hours before, during and three hours after the event, or until end of service, whichever occurs first.

Please note paid parking has been extended to include all parking bays at Transperth train stations. This means when you park at a Transperth train station it will cost you $2 a day, or for any part of, between 5am and 9pm on weekdays. If your event is joint ticketed and you plan to park at a train station, you will need to use the Pay 'n' Display option to pay for parking. See Paid Parking for more information.
