Transperth has developed an integrated public transport plan designed to move 83% of patrons to and from Optus Stadium, connecting event-goers to the CBD and wider metropolitan area.
The Stadium precinct includes a purpose-built train and bus station to accommodate large crowds attending events, and Transperth services operating will vary depending on the event.
Events at Optus Stadium will be joint ticketed, which means the cost of public transport is included in event tickets.
Purpose-built Perth Stadium Station contains six dedicated platforms within two station concourses. The Western concourse will serve passengers for the Joondalup and Fremantle lines and the Eastern concourse will serve the Armadale Line and shuttles into Perth.
Train services will be adjusted to fit the specific event profiles. For full-capacity events, frequent services on all lines will operate from three hours prior to the start of the event.
The information below provides an overview of travel to Optus Stadium by train for full-capacity events. Remember to use the JourneyPlanner to plan your journey before you travel.
Bus services have been designed to supplement train services with eight, limited-stop routes operating along key corridors. In addition, a CBD shuttle will run between Perth Stadium Bus Station and EQ Bus Station via Adelaide Tce and St Georges Tce to Perth Stadium Station.
