Services often change at the start of the school year. These changes can include School Specials as well as regular routes that service schools in the area. These changes are made in order to offer the best possible service across the network.

Assumption Catholic Primary School

Aveley Secondary College

The following services will be available for Aveley Secondary College:

AM:

  • Route 334 will depart Ellenbrook Town Centre and travel to Aveley Secondary College
    • Departing Ellenbrook Central Shopping Centre at 7.52am
    • Departing Wyara Lk / Brigalow Bd at 8.02am
    • Arriving Aveley Secondary College approximately at 8.10am.
  • School Special 760 will depart Baskerville and travel via Upper Swan, The Vines and Aveley Secondary College to Ellenbrook Secondary College. Please refer to the map to see the full route.
    • Departing Haddrill Rd / Campersic Rd 7.45am
    • Arriving Aveley Secondary College at 8.20am
    • Arriving Ellenbrook Secondary College at 8.30am.
  • Route 955 will depart Morley Bus Station and deviate to Aveley Secondary College
    • Departing Morley Bus Station at 7.27am
    • Departing Bassendean Station at 7.44am
    • Departing Altone Rd / Bennett Springs Dr at 7.56am
    • Departing Ellenbrook Transfer Station at 8.09am
    • Departing Ellenbrook Central Shopping Centre at 8.14am
    • Arriving Aveley Secondary College at approximately 8.22am.
  • Route 955 will depart Ellenbrook North (Annie’s Landing) and deviate to Aveley Secondary College
    • Departing Banrock Dr / Dunnett Dr (Annie’s Landing) at 8.09am
    • Arriving Aveley Secondary College at 8.17am.

PM:

  • Route 334 to Ellenbrook Town Centre will depart from Stand 2, Stop 27765 at 2.53pm
  • School Special 760 to Baskerville will depart from Stand 1, Stop 27764 at 2.52pm and travel from Aveley Secondary College. Please refer to the map to see the full route
  • Route 955 to Morley Bus Station via Ellenbrook Transfer Station and Bassendean Station will depart Stand 4, Stop 27766 at 2.58pm
  • Route 956 to Ellenbrook North (Annie’s Landing) will depart Stand 1, Stop 27764 at 2.55pm.

Emmanuel Catholic College

To accommodate the new finish time at Emmanuel Catholic College:

  • Route 530 travelling to Cockburn Station will arrive at the school at 3.10pm
  • Route 531 travelling to Cockburn Station will arrive at the school at 3.40pm
  • Route 532 travelling to Cockburn Station will arrive at the school at 3:43pm
  • Route 525 departing Cockburn Station travelling to Hammond Park / Aubin Grove Station will arrive at the school at 3.30pm
  • Route 532 departing Cockburn Station travelling to Fremantle Station will arrive at the school at 3:37pm
  • All other services will remain as per 2017*.

*Please note some trips remain unchanged as Transperth have been unable to amend these trips without impacting other services.

Frederick Irwin Anglican School

Foundation Christian College

Fremantle College

School routes 771, 772, 775 and 778 previously servicing Hamilton Senior High School and South Fremantle Senior High School will not be operating in 2018. The following services will be available for Fremantle College:

AM:

  • Route 511 will depart Fremantle Station:
    • 7.52am, arriving at Fremantle College at 8.02am
    • 8.03am, arriving at Fremantle College at 8.13am
  • Route 511 will depart Murdoch Station, operating via Winthrop and Samson:
    • 7.36am, arriving at Fremantle College at 8.07am
    • 7.51am, arriving at Fremantle College at 8.24am
  • Route 513 will depart Fremantle Station:
    • 7.50am, arriving at Fremantle College at 8.00am
    • 8.07am, arriving at Fremantle College at 8.17am
  • Route 513 will depart Murdoch Station, operating via Coolbellup and Hamilton Hill:
    • 7.41am, arriving at Fremantle College at 8.07am
    • 7.56am, arriving at Fremantle College at 8.22am
  • Route 530 will operate one deviating service via Yangebup to Fremantle College:

  • Route 531 will operate one deviating service via Beeliar and Spearwood to Fremantle College:

    • Departing Marvell Ave / Rockingham Rd at  7.50am
    • Departing Rockingham Rd / Carrington St at 8.14am
    • Arriving at Fremantle College at 8.21am
  • Route 532 will operate one deviating service via Beeliar and Coogee to Fremantle College:
    • Departing Cockburn Central Station at 7.44am
    • Departing Beeliar Dr / Durnin Ave at 7.55am
    • Departing Rockingham Rd / Carrington St at 8.10am
    • Arriving at Fremantle College at 8.20am
  • Route 160 and CircleRoutes 998 and 999 operate along South St, a short walk to Fremantle College
  • Students travelling from rural areas of Wattleup should take Route 534 to Aubin Grove Station, transfer to the Mandurah train line to Murdoch Station, and catch either routes 511 or 513 to Fremantle College.

PM:

  • Route 511 will depart from Stand 1 (Stop 10759) outside Fremantle College at 3.01pm, bound for Fremantle Station
  • Route 511 will depart from Stop 10754 opposite Fremantle College at 3.02pm, bound for
  • Murdoch Station, via Samson and Winthrop
  • Route 513 will depart from Stand 1 (Stop 10759) outside Fremantle College at 3.18pm, bound for Fremantle Station
  • Route 513 will depart from Stop 10754 opposite Fremantle College at 2.59pm and 3.09pm, bound for Murdoch Station, via Hamilton Hill and Coolbellup 
  • Route 530 will depart from Stand 2 (Stop 27673) outside Fremantle College, operating via Yangebup to Cockburn Central Station at 3.01pm
  • Route 531 will depart from Stand 2 (Stop 27673) outside Fremantle College, operating via Spearwood and Beeliar to Cockburn Central Station at 2.58pm
  • Route 532 will depart from Stand 3 (Stop 27674) outside Fremantle College, operating via Coogee and Beeliar to Cockburn Central Station at 2.58pm
  • Route 160 and CircleRoutes 998 and 999 operate along South St, a short walk from Fremantle College.

Gilmore College

From Term One 2018, Transperth will improve access from Gilmore College for students travelling to Bertram.

Route 543, travelling to Kwinana Station via Bertram, will depart Gilmore Avenue adjacent to Gilmore College (Stop 17041) at 2.47pm. This service will operate from Gilmore College, via Gilmore Avenue, to Kwinana Bus Station, and then operate the timetabled route to Kwinana Station via Bertram.

This change will remove the need for students to walk to Chisham Avenue after school.

Iona Presentation Primary School

School Special 701 departing Fremantle Station at 8.06am will now terminate at Iona Presentation College, and will not travel to Iona Presentation Primary School, due to poor patronage.

Students travelling to Iona Presentation Primary School are still able to take the earlier School Special 701 trip departing Fremantle Station at 7.56am, arriving Iona Presentation Primary School at 8:30am.

John Tonkin College

Kalamunda Senior High School

From Term One 2018, Transperth will improve access to Kalamunda Senior High School for students travelling from Helena Valley.

The following school day services will be available:

AM:

  • Route 307 will operate an additional trip departing Midland Station at 7.42am, travelling the timetabled route to Helena Valley, and extending to Mazenod College via Kalamunda Bus Station, Kalamunda Senior High School and St Brigid’s College.

PM:

  • Route 307 will operate an additional trip departing Kalamunda Senior High School on Canning Rd after Central Rd (Stop 22261) at 3.15pm, travelling via Kalamunda Bus Station. This trip will not stop at Helena Valley Rd before Goldsbrough Ent (Stop 27250).

Mandurah Baptist College

Mandurah Catholic College

School Special 725

Due to poor patronage, School Special 725 serving various Mandurah area schools will no longer operate along Greenwood Wy, Hastings Rd or Davis Rd in Barragup. Please refer to this map to see how School Special 725 will operate.

School Special 729

  • School Special 729 departing Mandurah Station at 8am, arriving Mandurah Catholic College, will be withdrawn due to poor patronage.
  • Students travelling to Mandurah Catholic College from Mandurah Station can take School Special 739 departing at 7.53am, or School Special 743 departing at 8:03am, from Stand A5.
  • School Special 739 will now depart from Mandurah Station at 7.53am, arriving Mandurah Catholic College at 8:03am.
  • School Special 743, operating between Mandurah Catholic College and Barragup, will no longer travel via Marlee Road and Mulga Dr East, due to poor patronage.

The following bus stops will be withdrawn:

  • Stop 25588 (Mulga Dr after Marlee Rd)
  • Stop 22268 (Mulga Dr before Marlee Rd)
  • Stop 27077 (Mulga Dr after Pinto Cl)
  • Stop 22269 (Mulga Dr before Pinto Cl)
  • Stop 25590 (Mulga Dr before Merrit Rd)
  • Stop 21492 (Mulga Dr after Merrit Rd).

The closest stops will be on Merrit Rd:

  • Stop 25656 (Merrit Rd before Marlee Rd)
  • Stop 25655 (Merrit Rd after Marlee Rd).

Mazenod College

From Term One 2018, Transperth will improve access to Mazenod College for students travelling from Helena Valley.

The following school day services will be available:

AM:

  • Route 307 will operate an additional trip departing Midland Station at 7.42am, travelling the timetabled route to Helena Valley and extending to Mazenod College via Kalamunda Bus Station, Kalamunda Senior High School and St Brigid’s College.

PM:

  • Route 307 will operate an additional trip departing Mazenod College on Gladys Rd adjacent to Mazenod College (Stop 13729) at 3.30pm, travelling via St Brigids College and Kalamunda Bus Station. This trip will not stop at Helena Valley Rd before Goldsbrough Ent. (Stop 27250).

Mercy College

From Term One 2018, Transperth will withdraw Route 379, operating between Mirrabooka Bus Station and Ballajura. Route 379 occasionally carries students attending Mercy College in Koondoola.

Students can instead take Route 376, departing Mirrabooka Bus Station (Stand 9) at the same time of 7.45am. Route 376 stops on Mirrabooka Av opposite Mercy College.

Mindarie Senior College

School Special 725 will now operate one trip only, due to poor patronage, and undergo the following time changes:

  • Mondays and Fridays, departing Mindarie Senior College at 3.48pm and arriving Clarkson Station at 4:06pm
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays, departing Mindarie Senior College at 4:08pm and arriving Clarkson Station at 4:26pm.

School Special 726 will continue to operate with one trip, but will undergo the following time changes:

  • Mondays and Fridays, departing Mindarie Senior College at 3.48pm and arriving Clarkson Station at 4:06pm
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays, departing Mindarie Senior College at 4:08pm and arriving Clarkson Station at 4:26pm.

Morley Senior High School

From Term One 2018, Transperth will withdraw afternoon School Special 757 travelling between Morley Senior High School and Alexander Heights.

This service will be replaced with an additional Route 378 trip, operating on school days only, commencing from Morley Senior High School (Stop 16189) at 3.40pm, travelling to Alexander Heights.

Mother Teresa Catholic College

From Term 1, Transperth will be extending Route 564 to the Mother Teresa Catholic College in Baldivis.

The following school day services will be available:

AM:

  • An additional Route 564 service will depart Warnbro Station at 7.56am and operate via the normal route to Baldivis. The service will then extend from its terminus on Wattlebird Wy, arriving Mother Teresa Catholic College at 8.15am.

PM:

  • Route 564 will depart Mother Teresa Catholic College at 3.10pm, operating via the normal route to Warnbro Station, and arriving Warnbro Station at 3.28pm.

The school community is reminded that bus services can only continue to operate with strong and consistent patronage.

These services will not be published on the timetable or available in the Transperth JourneyPlanner until a later date.

Newman College

From Monday 26 February, School Specials 710, 715, 716, 717, 718 and 719 previously departing at 3:30pm will now depart Newman College at 3:25pm.

This timetable change has been made due to a change in the time school finishes each day, and to allow for traffic. As a result, some students will now need to transfer at Scarborough Beach Bus Station or Stirling Station for the next leg of their journey, where previously they may have been able to stay on the bus.

Northshore Christian Grammar School

From Term 1 2018, Transperth will be extending services to Northshore Christian Grammar School in Alkimos.
The following morning and afternoon services will be available:

AM:

  • An additional Route 490 trip will depart Two Rocks and travel to Butler Station via Northshore Christian Grammar. This service will operate on school days only, as follows:
    • Depart Two Rocks Shopping Centre at 7.56am
    • Depart Marmion Av near Lagoon Dr at 8.09am
    • Arrive Northshore Christian Grammar School at 8.19am
    • Arrive Butler Station at 8.37am.
  • The Route 491 trip departing Butler Station at 8.13am, travelling to Yanchep, will now deviate to St James Anglican School and Northshore Christian Grammar School, operating as follows:
    • Depart Butler Station at 8.03am
    • Arrive St James Anglican School at 8.11am
    • Arrive Northshore Christian Grammar School at 8.19am
    • Depart Marmion Av near Lagoon Dr at 8.30am
    • Depart Wilkie Av near Grey Ct at 8.36am
    • Arrive Yanchep Beach Rd near Parkland Dr at 8.50am.

PM:

  • The Route 490 trip departing Butler Station at 3.06pm, travelling to Two Rocks, will no longer deviate to St James Anglican Grammar School. This service will operate via its timetabled route to Two Rocks, reducing travel time for passengers boarding at Butler
  • An additional Route 490 trip will depart St James Anglican School and will travel via Northshore Christian Grammar School to Two Rocks. This service will operate on school days only, as follows:
    • Depart St James Anglican School (Stop No 27578, on Graceful Bvd stop adjacent to the school) at 3.15pm
    • Depart Northshore Christian Grammar School (Stop No 27797 on Scotthorn Dr) at 3.25pm
    • Depart Marmion Av near Lagoon Dr at 3.35pm
    • Arrive Two Rocks Shopping Centre at 3.48pm.
  • The 2.54pm Route 491 trip departing Wilkie Av near Grey Ct, Yanchep, will deviate via Northshore Christian Grammar and St James Anglican School. This service will operate as follows:
    • Depart Wilkie Av near Lagoon Dr at 2.54pm
    • Depart Marmion Av near Lagoon Dr at 3.2pm
    • Depart Northshore Christian Grammar School (Stop No 27797 on Scotthorn Dr) at 3.13pm
    • Depart St James Anglican School (Stop No 27578 on Graceful Bvd stop adjacent to the school) at 3.23pm
    • Arrive Butler Station at 3.39pm.

The school community is reminded that bus services can only continue to operate with strong and consistent patronage.

Our Lady of Grace School

From Monday 26 February, Route 424 to Stirling Station and School Special 783 to Warwick Station, previously departing at 3.10pm, will now depart Our Lady of Grace School at 3.00pm, to accommodate an earlier finish time.

There will be no other time changes to these routes.

Please note, the Route 424 timetable will be updated on the next reprint. 

Seton Catholic College

From Term One 2018, the following afternoon trips for School Specials 770 and 775 will undergo changes:

School Special 775

School Special 775, operating via Seton College and Kennedy Baptist College, will be withdrawn and replaced with new School Special 777Please refer to the map to see the full route.

School Special 777 will operate as follows:

  • Depart Marchant Rd (Stop 22494) opposite Seton College at 3.30pm
  • Depart Kennedy Baptist College (Stop 19796) at 3.45pm
  • Arrive Murdoch Station at 3.53pm.

This bus will then continue as an additional Route 514 trip departing Murdoch Station at 3.53pm, and travelling via Bibra Lake to arrive Cockburn Central Station at 4.21pm. Students do not need to change buses to continue on to Route 514.

School Special 770

School Special 770, running from Seton College to Coogee, will be withdrawn and replaced with an additional Route 532 trip, departing Seton College and terminating at Beeliar Village Shopping Centre. Please refer to the map to see the full route.

Route 532 will operate as follows:

  • Depart Marchant Rd (Stop 10981) opposite Seton College at 3.32pm
  • Arrive Beeliar Dr after Durnin Av (Beeliar Village Shopping Centre) at 3.52pm.

St Brigid's College

From Term One 2018, Transperth will improve access to St Brigid’s College for students travelling from Helena Valley.

The following school day services will be available:

AM:

  • Route 307 will operate an additional trip departing Midland Station at 7.42am, travelling the timetabled route to Helena Valley and extending to Mazenod College via Kalamunda Bus Station, Kalamunda Senior High School and St Brigid’s College.

PM:

  • Route 307 will operate an additional trip departing Mazenod College on Gladys Rd adjacent to Mazenod College (Stop 13729) at 3.30pm, travelling via St Brigids College on Lesmurdie Rd before Catherine Pl (Stop 13748) at 3.37pm, followed by Kalamunda Bus Station. This trip will not stop at Helena Valley Rd before Goldsbrough Ent (Stop 27250).

St James Anglican School

The following bus services will be available for St James Anglican School:

AM:

  • Route 490 will depart Two Rocks Shopping Centre and deviate via St James Anglican School:
    • Departing Two Rocks Shopping Centre at 7.47am
    • Departing Marmion Av / Lagoon Dr at 8.00am
    • Arriving St James Anglican School at 8.16am.
  • Route 491 will depart Butler Station and deviate via St James Anglican School:
    • Departing Butler Station at 8.03am
    • Arriving St James Anglican School at 8:11am.

PM:

  • Route 490 travelling to Two Rocks Shopping Centre will depart Stop 27578 on Graceful Bvd at 3.15pm, outside the school. This trip will also deviate via Northshore Christian Grammar School to Two Rocks
  • A second Route 490 trip will also deviate via Stop 27578 outside the school at 3.34pm
  • Route 491 travelling to Butler Station will deviate via Stop 27578 on Graceful Bvd at 3.23pm.

Students should note that non-deviating Routes 490 and 491 trips operate along Marmion Av, within easy walking distance of St James Anglican School. Alternatively, students can take these routes from stops on Marmion Av and walk along Graceful Bvd to the school.

Yanchep Secondary College

The following bus services will be available for Yanchep Secondary College:

AM:

  • Route 490 will depart Two Rocks Shopping Centre and deviate via Yanchep Secondary College:
    • Departing Two Rocks Shopping Centre at 8.08am
    • Departing Marmion Av / Lagoon Dr at 8.25am
    • Arriving Yanchep Secondary College at 8.28am.
  • Route 491 will depart Yanchep and deviate via Yanchep Secondary College:
    • Departing Willkie Av / Grey Ct at 8.05am
    • Departing Marmion Av / Lagoon Dr at 8.13am
    • Arriving Yanchep Secondary College at 8.15am.
  • Route 491 will depart Butler Station at 8.03am and deviate via St James Anglican School and Northshore Christian Grammar School, before arriving Yanchep Secondary College at 8.28am.

PM:

  • Route 490 travelling to Two Rocks Shopping Centre will depart Stand 1 (Stop 27800) on Blackwood Mdr at 3.03pm and then deviate via Yanchep Lagoon Primary School
  • Route 491 travelling to Butler Station will depart Stand 2 (Stop 27799) on Blackwood Mdr at 3.03pm, then deviate via Northshore Christian Grammar School and St James Anglican School.

Students should note that non-deviating Routes 490 and 491 trips operate along Marmion Av, within easy walking distance of Yanchep Secondary College. Alternatively, students can take these routes from stops on Marmion Av and walk along Blackwood Mdr to the school.
