By applying for the Bayswater Free Travel Pass entitlement you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. That the pass is issued subject to the conditions of the Public Transport Authority Act and Public Transport Authority Regulations 2003.
  2. That any false or misleading statements made on this application form may result in you being prosecuted under the Public Transport Authority Act 2003 and Public Transport Authority Regulations 2003.
  3. The SmartRider card issued under this free travel scheme may only be used by the customer to whom it is issued.
  4. You consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your information in accordance with Public Transport Authority’s Privacy Statement which can be found here.
  5. These special free-travel SmartRiders are not transferable or refundable.
  6. You can only have one valid SmartRider issued under this scheme in your name at any one time.
  7. The free travel and parking entitlement is valid for the period 31 March – 30 June 2023.
  8. You have an ongoing requirement to travel to/from Bayswater (or the nearest operational station). If a regular pattern of travel indicates this is not the case then the PTA may revert the free travel SmartRider issued as part of this scheme to a Standard SmartRider. If this happens then you will need to apply for a new free travel entitlement under this scheme and the Public Transport Authority is not liable for any expenses incurred as a result of the free travel being suspended, nor will it refund any fares or parking fees as a result.
  9. If you lose or damage your free travel SmartRider issued as part of this scheme, and you need to apply for a replacement you will be required to pay for parking and fares while waiting for the replacement. The Public Transport Authority is not liable for any expenses incurred as a result of you losing your free travel entitlement in this instance, nor will it refund any fares or parking fees as a result.
  10. The Public Transport Authority will not transfer details such as vehicle registration for parking or bike lockers from your existing SmartRider to this free travel pass.  You will be required to register your vehicle details and bike locker access on the free travel pass.  Failure to register your vehicle for parking may result in a fine and the Public Transport Authority will not refund any fines as a result of a failure to register your vehicle on the new pass.  Failure to register for a bike locker on the new pass will result in you being unable to access bike parking.
