Don't miss a delivery at the cricket, take Transperth to the West Test from 21-25 November. 

Your match ticket to The Ashes Test includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours either side of each days play. Simply show your event ticket to the driver or inspector if asked.

Keep in mind you must have your event ticket on you to travel for no extra cost. If you’re planning on collecting your ticket at the venue, you will need to pay a normal fare to get there.

Transperth services may vary across the five days, it is important to plan your journey for each day you are attending the Ashes Test. 

Additional services will be running to get you to and from the Test Match.

Armadale Line train services have resumed, with trains operating between Byford and Perth Stadium stations. 

During Perth Stadium events, Red CAT services will extend to Matagarup Bridge for approximately two hours before the event, continuing until one hour after the event, including during the event.

If you're driving to one of our stations, parking is free on weekends, if your event is on a weekday you will still need to pay for parking. For more information, click here.

Travel by Train | Train System Map

To Perth Stadium
Direct Yanchep and Mandurah line services will not be operating. Instead, take a timetabled service to Perth and transfer to a train to Stadium Station. Trains between Perth and Stadium Station will operate on an approximate 4-minute frequency between 8.00am and 10.30am and then a 7-8 minute frequency to get you to the match. The first train will arrive at Stadium Station at approx. 5.09am.

Trains on the Armadale Line, departing from Byford Station, and Thornlie Cockburn Line, departing Cockburn Central Station stop at Perth Stadium Station.

From Perth Stadium
All trains to Perth Station will depart from Platform 1 and 2 on the Eastern Concourse. Direct Yanchep, Mandurah and Fremantle line services will not be operating. Instead, take the train to Perth then transfer to another line. Trains will operate on a high frequency from approximately 4.20pm to get you home. The last train departs Stadium Station approx. 2.24am.

Trains on the Armadale Line toward Byford Station and Thornlie Cockburn Line towards Cockburn-Central Station will depart from Platform 5 and 6 on the Eastern Concourse.

Travel by Bus

To Perth Stadium
The Suburban Event Bus Network will not be operating. Instead, catch a timetabled bus service to Perth, then transfer to a train to Stadium Station. Alternatively, you can also catch the Red CAT to Matagarup Bridge via West Perth and Perth CBD. 

From Perth Stadium
The Suburban Event Bus Network will not be operating. Instead, catch the train to Perth then transfer to a bus. Alternatively, you can walk over the Matagarup Bridge and catch the Red CAT.

Day 2: Saturday 22 November

Trains on the Armadale Line, departing from Byford Station, and Thornlie Cockburn Line, departing Cockburn Central Station stop at Perth Stadium Station.

From Perth Stadium
All trains to Perth Station will depart from Platform 2 on the Eastern Concourse. Direct Yanchep, Mandurah and Fremantle line services will be operating after the match. Additional services will be running to get you home. The last train departs Stadium Station approx. 2.24am.

Trains on the Armadale Line toward Byford Station and Thornlie Cockburn Line towards Cockburn-Central Station will depart from Platform 5/6 on the Eastern Concourse.

The Suburban Event Bus Network will be operating to get you to the match. Alternatively, you can also catch the Red CAT to Matagarup Bridge via West Perth and Perth CBD.

The Suburban Event Bus Network will be operating for 45 minutes after the match. Alternatively, you can walk over the Matagarup Bridge and catch the Red CAT.

Day 3: Sunday 23 November

From Perth Stadium

All trains to Perth Station will depart from Platform 2 on the Eastern Concourse. Direct Yanchep, Mandurah and Fremantle line services will be operating after the match. Trains will operate on a high frequency from approximately 6.00pm to get you home. The last train departs Stadium Station approx. 2.24am.

Service Disruptions 

The Airport and Ellenbrook line, and Claisebrook and McIver stations will be disrupted to facilitate the West Test. More information will be provided soon.

Included travel for events

Some event organisers and venues include Transperth travel to and from the event in their ticket price. In some cases, event organisers may also arrange for us to provide additional bus or train services for people attending the event.

If you are going to an event, please check the travel options and plan your journey in advance to avoid inconvenience on the day. If your event is joint ticketed, you are entitled to travel on any Transperth service for three hours before, during and three hours after the event, or until end of service, whichever occurs first.

Please note paid parking has been extended to include all parking bays at Transperth train stations. This means when you park at a Transperth train station it will cost you $2 a day, or for any part of, between 5am and 9pm on weekdays. If your event is joint ticketed and you plan to park at a train station, you will need to use the Pay 'n' Display option to pay for parking. See Paid Parking for more information.
