Transperth is the easy, simple way to attend many sporting fixtures, concerts and other events. Check the information below before planning your journey.

WA Day Festival 2025

Sat 22 Nov - Sun 23 Nov

Burswood Park
Saturday: 10am - 9.30pm
Sunday: 10am - 8.30pm

Transperth recommends all attendees use public transport to and from WA Day Festival, as the area will be busy due to The Ashes at Optus Stadium on Saturday and Sunday.

We encourage attendees to arrive to the WA Day Festival before 5:00pm and avoid travelling between 5:00pm and 6:30pm for the smoothest experience.

To travel on any Transperth service you need to purchase a ticket or use your SmartRider. If you are travelling to the event on Sunday, you can make use of Travel Free Sunday with a valid SmartRider to get you to and from the event. Please refer to Tickets and Fares for more information.

If you're driving to one of our stations, parking is free on weekends. For more information, click here.

Plan your journey using the Transperth JourneyPlanner before you travel.
