Heading to Westfield Carousel Shopping Centre this Christmas?

Keep it festive, not frantic. Beat the car park chaos with regular buses and trains operating.

The Thornlie-Cockburn Line is open, and Armadale Line train services have returned, giving shoppers convenient access to a number of frequent bus and train services to Westfield Carousel. 

Every Sunday, travel is free for all SmartRider holders. Just remember to tag on and off as you normally would. If you are travelling without a SmartRider, you will need to purchase a cash ticket. For more information, click here

Train Services 

Train System Map

  • Catch an Armadale Line train between Byford and Cannington stations
  • Catch a Thornlie-Cockburn Line train between Cockburn and Cannington stations. 

Armadale and Thornlie-Cockburn Line trains operate every 15 minutes during the day and 30 minutes during the night. 

From Cannington Station, it’s an easy stroll to Westfield Carousel – or you can hop on a connecting bus from the station’s bus interchange.

Bus Services 

There are a number of bus services to get you to and from Westfield Carousel this Christmas, with some one-bus journeys, including: 

  • High Frequency Route 925 from Bull Creek, Ferndale, Parkwood and Willetton 
  • High Frequency Route 930 from Cannington, East Victoria Park, Langford, St James, Thornlie and Victoria Park 
  • Routes 207 and 208 from Canning Vale, Langford, Lynwood and Thornlie
  • Routes 34 and Route 100 from Bentley, Como, Curtin Uni, Karawara, Kensington, Manning, South Perth, St James, Waterford and Wilson
  • Route 280 from Beckenham, East Cannington, Forrestfield, High Wycombe and Wattle Grove.

Included travel for events

Some event organisers and venues include Transperth travel to and from the event in their ticket price. In some cases, event organisers may also arrange for us to provide additional bus or train services for people attending the event.

If you are going to an event, please check the travel options and plan your journey in advance to avoid inconvenience on the day. If your event is joint ticketed, you are entitled to travel on any Transperth service for three hours before, during and three hours after the event, or until end of service, whichever occurs first.

Please note paid parking has been extended to include all parking bays at Transperth train stations. This means when you park at a Transperth train station it will cost you $2 a day, or for any part of, between 5am and 9pm on weekdays. If your event is joint ticketed and you plan to park at a train station, you will need to use the Pay 'n' Display option to pay for parking. See Paid Parking for more information.
