"Travel included to Ed Sheeran" with Transperth! 

 

Your concert ticket to Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours either side of each day's concert. Simply show your event ticket to the driver or inspector if asked.

Keep in mind you must have your concert ticket on you to travel for no extra cost. If you’re planning on collecting your ticket at the venue, you will need to pay a normal fare to get there.

To ensure a smooth entry into the concert, download your ticket to your phone wallet in readiness to scan at turnstiles.

Additional services will be running to get you to and from Optus Stadium, in addition to the Suburban Bus Network that will operate before and after the concert. It is important to plan your journey via the JourneyPlanner prior to travelling.

Staying in the Perth CBD?

During the concert, Red CAT services will extend to Matagarup Bridge - the pedestrian bridge to Perth Stadium. Services will be extended from approximately 4.00pm, continuing until one hour after the event, including during the concert.

Additional Red CAT services will also run, providing a convenient travel option for passengers to and from the city.
 

 

Getting to and from Optus Stadium:

Saturday 31 January 

Travel by Train | Train System Map

To Optus Stadium
Direct Yanchep and Mandurah line services will be operating before the concert. Trains between Perth and Perth Stadium Station will operate on an approximate 7-8 minute frequency until 4.33pm and then a 3-4 minute frequency until approximately 8.11pm.

Trains on the Armadale Line, departing from Byford Station, and Thornlie Cockburn Line, departing Cockburn Central Station stop at Perth Stadium Station.

From Optus Stadium
All trains to Perth Station will depart from Platform 2 on the Eastern Concourse. Direct Yanchep, Mandurah and Fremantle line services will be operating. Alternatively, take the train to Perth then transfer to another line. Trains will operate on a high frequency from approximately 11.00pm to get you home. The last train departs Stadium Station approx. 2.24am.

Trains on the Armadale Line toward Byford Station and Thornlie Cockburn Line towards Cockburn-Central Station will depart from Platform 6 on the Eastern Concourse.

Important Information: Midland Line services will be disrupted between Bassendean and Midland stations. Train replacement buses will be operating between Bassendean and Midland. 

Travel by Bus

To Optus Stadium

The Suburban Event Bus Network will be operating between 4.00pm and 7.00pm before the concert. Alternatively, you can also catch the Red CAT to Matagarup Bridge via West Perth and Perth CBD. 

From Optus Stadium
The Suburban Event Bus Network will be operating for 45 minutes after the concert. Alternatively, you can walk over the Matagarup Bridge and catch the Red CAT.

View your Stadium Station Bus Stand number prior to travelling to Optus Stadium.

If you are travelling before, or after this time, you will need to catch an alternate service to Optus Stadium.

Sunday 1 February 

Travel by Train | Train System Map

To Optus Stadium
Direct Yanchep and Mandurah line services will be operating before the concert. Trains between Perth and Perth Stadium Station will operate on an approximate 7-8 minute frequency until approximately 4.33pm.

Trains on the Armadale Line, departing from Byford Station, and Thornlie Cockburn Line, departing Cockburn Central Station stop at Perth Stadium Station.

From Optus Stadium

Alternatively, take the train to Perth then transfer to another line. Trains will operate on a high frequency from approximately 11.00pm to get you home. The last train departs Stadium Station approx. 1.02am.

Trains on the Armadale Line toward Byford Station and Thornlie Cockburn Line towards Cockburn-Central Station will depart from Platform 6 on the Eastern Concourse.

Important Information: Midland Line services will be disrupted between Bassendean and Midland stations. Train replacement buses will be operating between Bassendean and Midland.

Travel by Bus

To Optus Stadium

The Suburban Event Bus Network will be operating between 4.00pm and 7.00pm before the concert. Alternatively, you can also catch the Red CAT to Matagarup Bridge via West Perth and Perth CBD. 

From Optus Stadium
The Suburban Event Bus Network will be operating for 45 minutes after the concert. Alternatively, you can walk over the Matagarup Bridge and catch the Red CAT.

If you are travelling before, or after this time, you will need to catch an alternate service to Optus Stadium.

Service Disruptions 

Claisebrook and McIver stations will be disrupted to facilitate Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour at Optus Stadium. More information will be available closer to the date.

Included travel for events

Some event organisers and venues include Transperth travel to and from the event in their ticket price. In some cases, event organisers may also arrange for us to provide additional bus or train services for people attending the event.

If you are going to an event, please check the travel options and plan your journey in advance to avoid inconvenience on the day. If your event is joint ticketed, you are entitled to travel on any Transperth service for three hours before, during and three hours after the event, or until end of service, whichever occurs first.

Please note paid parking has been extended to include all parking bays at Transperth train stations. This means when you park at a Transperth train station it will cost you $2 a day, or for any part of, between 5am and 9pm on weekdays. If your event is joint ticketed and you plan to park at a train station, you will need to use the Pay 'n' Display option to pay for parking. See Paid Parking for more information.
