Event and ticket information

Heading to HBF Park to see Western Force v Chiefs? Your ticket includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours before, during and after the event. Simply show your ticket to the driver or inspector if asked.

Keep in mind you must have your event ticket on you to travel for no extra cost. If you're planning on collecting your ticket at the venue, you will need to pay a normal fare to get there.

If you're driving to one of our stations parking is free on weekends and public holidays, if your event is on a weekday you will still need to pay for parking. For more information, go to Parking

Trains

To game

Catch the train to Claisebrook Station, which is a short walk to HBF Park.

Please note: After 3.27pm Airport Line trains will not stop at Claisebrook or East Perth stations prior to the game. Change to an Ellenbrook or Midland line train at Bayswater Station during this time. 

Thornlie-Cockburn Line trains will not stop at Claisebrook Station prior to the game. Change to an Armadale Line train anywhere between Beckenham and Carlisle stations. Armadale Line trains will not stop at Claisebrook Station from approximately 3.36pm until 5.36pm. Check disruption details below.

Important: The Airport, Armadale, Ellenbrook, Midland and Thornlie-Cockburn will be disrupted to facilitate Optus Stadium services for the AFL

Buses

Timetabled buses will operate before, during and after the event. Please note that there will be no additional bus services at suburban stations to connect with the special event trains.

Included travel for events

Some event organisers and venues include Transperth travel to and from the event in their ticket price. In some cases, event organisers may also arrange for us to provide additional bus or train services for people attending the event.

If you are going to an event, please check the travel options and plan your journey in advance to avoid inconvenience on the day. If your event is joint ticketed, you are entitled to travel on any Transperth service for three hours before, during and three hours after the event, or until end of service, whichever occurs first.

Please note paid parking has been extended to include all parking bays at Transperth train stations. This means when you park at a Transperth train station it will cost you $2 a day, or for any part of, between 5am and 9pm on weekdays. If your event is joint ticketed and you plan to park at a train station, you will need to use the Pay 'n' Display option to pay for parking. See Paid Parking for more information.
