Event information
Take Transperth to the 2026 AusCycling Road National Championship, the sporting event that brings Australia's top cyclists and para-cyclists together to compete for the coveted green and gold national championships jersey here in Perth. The championship event consists of different events on different days across Perth.
Important Information: To ensure public safety there will be road closures and restricted access areas in place across the courses. Please visit the event organiser's website which outlines the key road closure locations and timing per day that closures will be in place to facilitate the event.
Important ticket information
To travel on any Transperth service, you need to purchase a ticket, use your SmartRider or contactless payments. If you are travelling to the event on Sunday, you can make use of Travel Free Sunday with a valid SmartRider or contactless payments to get you to and from the event.

Travelling to and from the event
Please note, no bikes, manual or powered, are allowed on board a bus, including train replacement buses unless:
- It is folded, and placed in an appropriately designed, fit for purpose carry bag*
- When folded the maximum dimensions are no more than 120cm x 68cm x 40cm.
