Students with a Student SmartRider can travel for free on all bus, train and ferry services from 5 February.

Students must tag on and off each journey to receive the free travel. 

The 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership season runs from March until August. 

Games will be held at Optus Stadium, with North Melbourne also hosting a home game at Hands Memorial Oval in Bunbury.

Travel on all Transperth services is included to every AFL game at Optus Stadium for three hours before and after the event.

Heading to Optus Stadium to see West Coast Eagles v Melbourne?

Your ticket includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours before and after the event, and additional services will run to get you to and from Optus Stadium. 

Direct trains on the Yanchep Line, in addition to the Suburban Event Bus Network will operate to get you to and from the game.

Heading to Optus Stadium to see Fremantle v Collingwood?

Your ticket includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours before and after the event, and additional services will run to get you to and from Optus Stadium. 

Direct trains and the Suburban Event Bus Network will not operate before the match due to the clash with afternoon peak. Instead, catch a timetabled service to Perth, then transfer to an Armadale Line train service to Perth Stadium Station. Alternatively you can also catch the Red CAT to Matagarup Bridge via West Perth and Perth CBD.

To get you home, the Suburban Event Bus Network will come into operation for 45 minutes after the match, in addition to direct trains on the Yanchep and Fremantle lines.

Important: Following the opening of the Ellenbrook Line, direct trains on the Fremantle Line to Optus Stadium will not be running before the game.

Important: Route 654 will now operate a shorter route between Bassendean Station and Perth Stadium Station. Passengers normally boarding between Ellenbrook and Bassendean Station can now catch an Ellenbrook Line train.

Heading to HBF Run for a Reason on Sunday 25 May? Public transport is included in your event registration. Simply wear your event bib to travel on any Transperth service at no extra cost until 3pm.

Early morning trains will run to get you to the Half Marathon, 12km and 3km events.
